And had to take a pic of the old rail road bridge. Rails have been pulled and it's part of the trail system. We're on our way back from another wood hauling trip. And there are cyclists on it.

@Ponypoor agreed. Keep Mr and Mrs Little Chicken. As far as Bert, Rosario, and Clyde, partly off of which one the ladies like, partly off which one people want.
Bert and Rosario are definitely going. I cannot risk poor Mr P; Bert is younger stronger and faster I don’t want him hurting Mr P.

I don’t need or want Rosario, it’s just too bad he is a Roo, and it’s making me miserable thinking that he will need to go. But the fact remains that I do not need or want another Roo.

Until Clyde actually crows I won’t do anything with her/him. While I would love to have a silkie Roo, after having dealt with Teddy and how ferocious he was I just don’t want a Roo like that. Clyde is already very ‘familiar’ and habituated to people, if he’s a Roo then they feel that will enable him to be an aggressive boy who isn’t afraid to attack me or others. Same thought with Mr LC, but he is small enough I can lock him away!

Oh I won’t really lock them away, but the fact remains if I have a bunch of Roos here they cannot all be running together, that’s a recipe for disaster.

Someone will always end up being locked away. 😢😢😢

Coop is not done. :( It goes really slowly when it's pretty much just me. Tomorrow at 5, I'll start again and hopefully hubs will feel better and help more. I'm SURE we can get it all done but the floor in a couple hours. But I'm tired, it's 8, and I really need dinner. Husband's game camera in our YARD showed a fox last night! I want those birds moved!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Nope. Not Calypso who is still in her jail cage raging at me and trying to pick the lock.
It is Tassels. AGAIN!

:th
I think this is the 5th time this summer and she is impossible to break. She is a much more pleasant broody than Calypso. No armor required. But she is stubborn as all hell.
I will leave her be until Calypso has seen the error of her ways. But good grief this lady gets it bad!

Are you in the throws of heatwaves? The heat/humidity is confusing our Silkies ~ do they lay an egg? or go broody? or act normal? Each day a surprise who's in the nest box & what each one decides to do for the day!

It’s fine if you didn’t get it finished today. I don’t want you to work on it today because it’s my birthday and I have done very little work at all, and it’s hot 🥵
