Bob - that OEGB pullet can fly like a hawk! I was pulling the truck out from the barn and I guess it’s spooked her, she flew up and over the yard for her the fence and half way down the barn yard and landed nice as you please on the horses fence!Maybe I should have named her Miss Tree?
@Ponypoor ~ speak of the devil ~ 2 of our broody Silkie pullets decided to have a knock-down, fur-pulling, claw attack on each other today! DH pulled them apart. Little hellions as broodies but sweet as pie when normalWe've had b*tchy Silkie hens go at each other jumping 4' in the air trying to claw each other w/their slipper feet. Only happened once that we saw but it was scary!
So sorry your Silkies aren't pullets. It's why we don't hatch eggs or give eggs to broodies cuz of the heartbreak of getting roos![]()
