he got my attention! I almost peed myself! (Quite surprised)😮
Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh.

Do the pants you're wearing have any kind of pattern? When I wear a particular pair of pants in with the chickens, a couple of them will peck at a stain that's on the side of my right leg. Another pair have a thread sticking up out of the weave, and that gets some pecks.

Yes I would bet Georgie was a pullet also, but I have noted thicker more solid feathers growing up through her/his tail fluff.

Anyways I will wait till the blighter crows or lays an egg.

BUT she/he bit me twice this afternoon when I went to handle her/him. So what does that say?

Anywhoo it is what it is.
Our "Ginny" was a biting/pecking snot as a chick and at almost 4 yrs old she's still a snot. No one likes her. But she is a beautiful gold/blue partridge & looks so cute. We figured she wanted to be an alpha but after our Dominique put her in her place she's distanced herself to toodling around the yard mostly by herself. Our "Suzu" is about the only Silkie who tolerates her. The 3 newest Silkies stay out of her way.

Tassels is back in broody jail. She settled in to incubate her little bit of 2x4.
Setting up a fan was more complex than I expected - if I put it under her then 💩 will for sure hit the fan - so I need to work out how to do this.
I will try in the morning.
I am also wondering if I should spray water in her undercarriage. Has anyone had any experience with that method?
We wet a broody's chest & bottom but chicken bodies are so overheated they dry off in no time. Separation from nestboxes and individual cages or pen area works best for us. The first day or two they are agitated or frump down all day & sometimes don't eat but usually 2-3 days of no nestbox access works.

No particular pattern, just my normal tan shorts. I remember when my Sunshine would bite me the same way. (The same breed as Aero) sneaking up to me and biting me on my bum

What causes this?
I was talking with the little ones while they were in the run napping 😴. All seemed fine until I felt a pinch on my butt. It was Aero, she had snuck up behind me and WHAM, bit me right in the buttocks. :idunno

She couldn't resist! :lau

That’s fantastic. But it’s really too bad that you have to be concerned about transients trespassing on your property and causing damage. :hugs:old
We got some chaotic state problems and living in Calif w/ open border policy & releasing supposedly overcrowded state prisons doesn't help. The mild weather & free benefits brings in all kinds of traffic.
