Caturday Saturday

Missy is trying to decide if she will stay out or go back in. So fickle!

It’s a chilly 11C windy and overcast here, an autumn day.

For all concerned, hubby's surgery went well and he is doing fine! He's taking full advantage of the weight restriction and taking a couple weeks off of helping split and stack dads firewood.

I don't know what kind of surgery he had - but if it was any kind of abdominal surgery - do try to temper his activity for a bit. You don't want him to end up with a hernia because he didn't wait for the muscles to knit! (Yes, this coming from someone who is herself a terrible patient - but recently had abdominal surgery and was given a stern talking to about the risks - because hubby ratted me out to the Dr.!)

She is gorgeous! (though, I must say, I have yet to meet a chick I didn't think was cute/adorable/entertaining/all of the above!)

Is it your birthday today Lilion?

Yesterday was, yes. I took the day off work and we went out to the big town an hour away. Plan had been to drop the dog for a groom while we had areally nice meal and then do some shopping. Hadn't even ordered when Petco called and the dog was throwing a fit every time they touched her and they couldn't groom her. She even tried to bite the groomer! She was fine in the kennel, so we left her long enough to eat. In fact, she was just fine altogether. She apparently just was too anxious. So this little stinker remains a shaggy mess and she messed up my plans! The shopping moved to today. Another 2-hour round trip...but she can just stay home.

I just realized how long it has been since I last commented
