Been using an angled mouse w/RGB lighting (pretty & color spectrum rotates) rather than using an uncomfortable flat mouse:
DH got a program to customize the buttons for me ~ doing whatever he can to help my typing w/other hand cuz of regular typing arm broken

Cute field mouse grooming itself on Craiyon

Come on, he's so cute!
Interesting on the compu-mice. I'm going to have to investigate for me.

I was hoping that he would grow into his big feet. So far he’s doing fine but not quite the rooster that BEN was. He stood three feet tall fourteen pounds and knew how to wrestle with me.
Rudy won't fully finish filling out until he's pushing the end of the hormonal idiocy phase. He still needs time to build all that muscle.

Sadly I recently rehomed my flock of 5 Isa Browns and one Smokey Pearl. I had two fatal raccoon attacks within one week, we had travel plans and I could not leave someone else with that kind of horror show, you know? I will however show you a pic or two! How sad. I'm sorry you had to do that. I'm sure they are good hands though. They look like a fun group.

Rudy is a strong roo now. I can’t imagine him getting even stronger, and with spurs. I might cap them when they grow out. Trim to the quick but not any shorter. (Is my plan)

Be satisfied! My butterballs bite me on my bum every chance they get. Sneaky little birds.
Yes....
Pecking and exploring and preening me back there is one thing. Hazel still maneuvers around me to do that, she always has ever since she was a pullet. Diane does it too. But hard pecks and bites is another! Diane will come around to my arm and really jab, then look up at me to see what reaction she's getting, she's trying to get a rise out of me. Sometimes ignoring her works best.

Any clue why some moult hard while others don't?
Nope

No rhyme nor reason. Fluffy my white silkie is moulting but unless you look close you wouldn’t know. She is full of pin feathers, under her fluff.

Henny Penny is starting a hard moult it looks like. She is shedding feathers everywhere!

I trim back Mr P’s every so often, I keep taking them back hoping to get them to a more manageable length, but they grow so fast and they are hard as cement!
