My youngsters are fine with snow as long as it’s only a skiff, but the older chooks won’t even look at it, they need an incentive to step in the snow hahaha. The bits of green grass poking through will entice them out. But not for long.

And caring for our friends and family through times of heartache.I’m supposed to preach at my church today, but I’m too upset about Jenn losing her entire flock, I have no encouraging words to say to my congregation. Just the pain of loss she is feeling now. So very sad

I like the story of Elijah where Queen Jezebel & Ahab issued a decree to kill him & he got discouraged cuz he thought he was the only Believer left ~ & then God told him there were still 7000 who were w/Elijah & it strengthened him knowing he wasn't the only afflicted person. This is a classic story of depression & encouragement.
