We would love to meet you. So would the chickens!I have been thinking about flying cross country, to meet with Mr By Bob and his wife. I’m still thinking about it. It would make a good trip, and then I would go to Maine for lobsterjust things on my bucket list.
Meeting that crazy Canadian pistol Kelly is also on my list. She probably needs new batteries for her head torch.
I have one part way done. I have lost my down time recently so it may be a while.Speaking of that - I really miss the Ask Aurora posts!
She is dating a famous football player. I think she is in the music business somehow.I am sure Toronto would be ready for you. If they can handle the Taylor Swift Eros tour then your should be fine.
(FYI - seriously who is this Taylor Swift person? I am really not up on celebrities this day and age…)
You are silly.I know, it was @BY Bob![]()
Phyllis loved slugs. She ate them all the time.Slugs ARE disgusting & my chickens won't eat them either they are so sticky to touch or eat ~ yuck! Ducks have no problem making fast feasts of slugs/snails but our chickens leave them alone! I sometimes use Sluggo around my garden beds ~ supposed to be safe around pets. Otherwise I go after a rain using long handle tongs to pick up all the slugs & kill them in a pail of Sluggo pellets otherwise they'll just keep breeding more.
Our hens use the dog houses we set out in the yard but the houses also attract slugs hiding underneath the houses in the wet pools or damp earth.

Beautiful furniture piece!Such adorable pets you have!
Where did you get that burled oak dresser from? I've been looking on Marketplace for two nightstands and a tall man's dresser like that. I have two armoires, one in my office and one's my dresser been trying to match to some extent and it's been rare to find.
I've heard guineas are better than chickens at foraging woodticks.Do Keets have a decent reputation at all for tick foraging? I hear conflicting reports.
WOW! She did?!
This place looks really lovely to meBeautiful! Very nice!
30 yrs ago DH & I bought an acre of mountain wilderness to build a cabin & have some livestock for our retirement but by the time we got to retirement our health would not permit us to live such a distance from good medical facilities only located in urban areas. But we don't mind since our current suburb cottage is located at the foot of the mountains & ordinance allows us 5 hens/no roos in our yard which is just the right amount for usoldsters to handle.
