Mine aren’t crazy about banana either, but that was just one or two tries.

Sybil is the only one of mine that doesn't care for banana. The others tear it up!

I will have to try that. Aster might be adventurous enough to try one.

Eat something they like first. Right in front of them. Then eat the banana.

Rosie is at it again, trying to steal another of my chickens. She has claimed the new girl. I should let her have this win because while I was not able to catch her this morning and afternoon out in the pouring rain. She came right up to Rosie and let her pick her up.....brat. She sat out on the porch holding her for a good half hour as she talked about her stressful day. Chicken therapy, it works. She started out on the verge of tears over friend drama and when she was done she was calm, and happy after ranting and petting the chicken.

Rosie named her. I told her Vivvy gets to name her and she said Vivvy's name could be her middle name and she would use it when she was around.

I think Ethyl is a great name!

And yep nothing better than whining to one’s animals. My horses have put up with my whining for years. I think they are glad the chooks are now there to listen to me.

I have the same wheel barrow problem. I made the mistake of building the door 3 inches to small

We gave away our wheelbarrow & got Gorilla carts instead ~ they come in different sizes too. Narrow enough to go through doors (4 cu ft cart) whereas barrows are too wide. The Gorilla also has a mechanism to lift & empty the cart easily of it's contents, dirt, etc.

I've hauled paver stones, & tons of dirt loads, & potted trees, & hauled pruned branches w/ the Gorilla's. They take serious beating too. My yard work is a breeze now. Even took a chicken for a short ride in it.
