Considering the effort it would take to remove the hay to break her up. Me and dad both decided it is best to be a surprise when and if she comes off with chicks. He will take the heat as he was the one who does not want to mess with the hay.
Is you mum not missing her?

Oh, how close you actually are to me. I could drive down the hill and meet with you both. Face to face, I would love to have you convince me to change my convictions. Only a four hour drive actually
I knew you were close ~ well, at least in the same state. Sounds super if you're serious ~ wherever "two or more are gathered"❤️. DH has met w/his online cronies from back East before & this state is much closer.

DH meets w/ APU professors & friends at our local Chic-Fil-A every morning. For your meetup we have to wait till after my surgery as insurance drags its approvals ~ I'm in limbo till this arm gets fixed!. We'll PM you as we know more.

Are you near Clovis? That's where my 93 yr old Auntie lived ~ she passed this yr February & now just her DD/SIL live in Clovis. I have relatives all over this state & Sacramento, even Idaho, Oregon, & Australia. Auntie was making a family genealogy but now she's gone we won't know where anyone is any more. Auntie let us know births/deaths/marriages, etc. No more. She ran the church library over 60 yrs! Miss that sweet lady!

Ps. If you eat almonds, oranges, walnuts, and pomegranates you have been exposed to the same chemicals I have described.
We avoid Almonds as much as possible, allergic to Oranges, & we grow our own Tomatoes, Zuchini, Cucumbers, Herbs, Pomegranates, Guavas, Grapefruit & Lemons. We swap w/neighbors for their Tangerines, Peaches, Walnuts, Avocados. No one grows Bananas any more in our neighborhood so it bothers us the chemicals they spray on Banana spiders before importing to USA markets.

Buying organic is the best way to go rather than non-labeled produce. Farmers Markets are usually a good way to buy too.

Veggie Garden beds & Pomegranate trees to benefit chickens & us.
