Wow, I found a way to keep my rooster Mr Wyandottey from getting aggressive with the hens.
I separated him from them and gave him his own treats. No fights, no stress, but he’s pecking at my $200 dollar footwear. He really is a good guy, but he’s in need of training. That’s all
And I told him to get a job! $

Those are absolute sweeties!!! Gorgeous. One thing I don't understand is where some Silkies grow a red comb which is an SOP disqualifier ~ maybe they get it from crossbred mixes?

When we got our first two bearded Silkies the little cockerel had a reddish comb but we didn't keep him long enough to see if it darkened later. The little pullet in the same hatch grew a normal dark skin comb.

Have to say I love that colour ♥️ A true hallowe’en chickie 🥰

If she was all gray as a chick she could be Silver Partridge.

And then there is a Blue Silkie that also looks just like our Silver Partridge. Honestly. I can't tell the difference.
