I had one of those but it was so lightweight it wasn't stable & kept tipping over & wouldn't roll well plus the hose wouldn't roll up evenly for me & caused the hose to bunch up on one side instead of rolling up easily. If a rubber or plastic hose is cold it isn't pliable enough to roll up nicely & fights me like a boa snake.
Once I finally got a ground mounted hose reel for my more pliable durable steel hose I saw a video trick on rolling up a hose so it doesn't kink. These two videos are worth watching for us who have hoses for gardening or chickeneering.
I also have a Sidewinder to keep my garden hoses off the ground to keep from getting muddy during rainstorms or poopy from chickens. There are several other nicer hose support brands too. These are called RV sewer hose supports but I put 2 to 3 regular garden hoses on these supports to keep the hoses off the ground.
Wish I had better photos of our flexible Sidewinder hose support but these pics show two of our older contractor & garden hoses being supported off the ground w/ Silkie next to it to show size. The hoses stay cleaner this way. We never stored this Sidewinder & has been steadily outdoors for 3 yrs now. This hose support brand is flimsy compared to others but suits our purpose for a small yard.
