Yep such is life…. We have about a foot of evil white stuff now today. Still snowing I ran to the barn to check a chook. Snow almost to top of boots. Oh chook fine….

Ya and I don’t know where it is! I had to use the push broom. I bet I put it in the ‘demolition’ area that I have been trying to renovate.

Hey, do you realize the central problem with 9 months of winter and 5 months of construction? That makes 14 months! There are 12 months in a year. Or is there winter construction for 2 months?

I didn’t even catch that. Maybe meant 7&5….

Which is what we normally get though last few winters it’s been nice up until December, spring frost breakup was earlier also.

Anything new or out of the ordinary makes chickens wary. Our first squirrel appearance was a baby squirrel & sent the birds into alert mode. After a couple days they got accustomed to him. Now he doesn't come around any more. We set out a humane trap for it but we've been trapping rats instead. Win-win!
