Oh my goodness, George's true color is finally revealed.

Thanks to his head feathers which have finally lost a lot of their keratin coating I can confirm.

George is 100% without a doubt a splash!!!

He has at least 15 feathers in his poof that have black stripes on them. I thought he had mud in his feathers and tried to clean it off at first and then realized that nope, that is not mud. I looked him over and the black in his feathering is only contained in his head feathering right now. Am I right to think as he gets older and goes through more molts he could sport black feathers throughout his body?

Yes splashes tend to get more speckled as they age! Oh my gosh how exciting!!! He's already pretty, he'll be a stunner

This just sealed the deal. He is 100% his daddy's carbon copy as Mr. P is a splash. Poor Betty just provided the egg he hatched from. He did not even inherit the silkie double toe which my 2nd generation silkie cross spooky has.

I've only feed cooked chicken turkey and vegetables to Nancy so far and bought expensive foods for back up.

But they all add copper into these foods. I wish someone would sue these companies for selling toxic feeds.

Copper messes up their red and white blood cells causing kidney and liver failure.

I don't like using the word hate. But I hate loathe and despise these criminals for the amount of harm and heartache they've caused and they still continue to do so.

Same said for our human food providers they are a disgrace to humanity, all of them.

If someone deliberately poisons someone they go to prison. So how can these fends keep doing this

The blue sulphate pentahydrate is some kind of copper derivative. Since bright radiant blue is not a natural food color I'm not into that chemical. Why is there so much copper listed by so many different names ~ it's so we don't see how much total copper is in the pkg! Copper & copper-related chemicals kills bacteria which extends shelf life ~ but it kills good gut genomes too! Mfr's hide the copper derivatives by some chemical names cuz we're too stupid/naive in not researching labels & us assuming mfr's care for us or our pets ~ they're only interested in the $$$ ~ & fool us into buying more of their deceptively labeled cr*p sickening us or our livestock/pets.

Hello everyone, I have had a really rough time this Christmas. I became very sick and bed ridden. I left my birds outside to free range and Rudy the rooster never came back home I almost lost Little CeeCee too, but she found her way home.
I should never have left my birds out unattended. I’m still feeling sickly, but losing my Rudy just makes it harder. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Are you going into hospital for your arm?

Yep. I'm on the hospital schedule for Jan 8th & have my pre-surgery hospital interview/registration Jan. 2 & an afternoon ortho Dr. appt Jan 7th. I can't take any herbs or supplements for a week prior to surgery ~ simple stuff for example like vitamins or minerals! I don't take prescription meds so that was easy to cross out.

Prayers is always appreciated on any or all of the listed dates
