Interestingly enough, if the flash was used it washed them out.

Poor baby...will a boot splint help to heal before she goes lame? There are lots of different boots/splints for broken chicken toes. It means keeping her in-house while healing. That's what we did for Mini who ripped toes & toenails off while scratching real hard in the wooden nestboxes. I was so engrossed treating her feet from the vet ofc I never thought to photo the splint boot. Basically just a flat cardboard cut in the shape of the chicken's foot & vet wrapped between toes. We used infant socks to go over the boot & vet taped the sock to her leg. Unfortunately her hairy feathered legs didn't hold the sock up but she was ok w/o it. She got used to walking w/ the cardboard boot.I spent so much time with Coco today, I forgot to go lock up the others in the coop. I just did.
I found out that Coco has a broken toe.that’s why she limps around and doesn’t get too much exercise in the yard. She is such a sweet Rockette, but I think her dancing career is over.

Stay warm Bob️
Cutie pies!I am so grateful my horse vet is helpful with my chooks, and thankful as a trained Nurse I have the knowledge to treat most things.
Both my horse Vet and small animal Vet have known me for decades and know I was a Nurse so they are good with me doing most treatments.

Curly and Penelope
Wow! Dust bath fenzy! Is that all of them?!
Hopefully it's him and he is alive and well. That way you can get him back.I have a lead on the whereabouts of Rudy might be. One neighbor said that she heard a new rooster crowing near her. Everyone in the neighborhood knows what Mr Wyandottey sounds like. But she said that the two were answering each other. I must investigate this very carefully, because I can’t go accusing them of having Rudy unless I am totally sure it’s him.
I would start a war.![]()
