Midnight and.. Happy New Year everyone. I hope those fireworks are done with for now. What a noise the neighbors make.

I saw a meme the other day about tortellini soup and had to make my own


Garlicky chicken noodle soup with chicken parmesan tortellini as the noodles. Delicious.

I’ll have you know in my younger years I would party till 4:30am, go home feed horses then go skiing

Now days I am happy to go to bed before 9pm!

One of the vendors at work brought us in a couple Wagyu steaks each, so tonight that’s what’s for supper. Never had Wagyu beef before…

Oh my. I would be angry by the time 1AM rolled around. Any later than midnight without the ability to roll into bed right away and I start to get agitated due to exhaustion.

And a happy birthday to Reenie, thoroughbred horses all turn a yr older on January first no matter their real birth date. This is for racing reasons.

Reenie’s true birthday is 18 February 2001.

New year, new life in the run. Nacho from next door came over with her brood to enjoy the better life with us. She is training her chicks to come over and help themselves to my chick feed.
Strangely enough a few look a lot like Rudy when he was a chick!
I won’t collect them up and brood them myself. I MUST let nature take its course.
