I don't think they're non gluten. The brand is Buittoni or something like that.Non-gluten cheese tortellini? If so, where from? I'm always looking for non-gluten.

I was going to guess white! But hey peachy pink is awesome!!!!!!It's Official!
Aster has laid an egg, 7 in fact!
We have been away visiting family for 11 days. She must have started right after we left. There were no eggs on 12/22. In fact I had not seen her even check out a nest box. let's allow a day or 2 and estimate that it was a Christmas present from her to us. that would then be 7 eggs in 9 days!
So now its guessing time. Before looking, what color do you think it is? Is it white like a leghorn? Is it another beige egg? Could it b dark brown? Did BY Bob get another Blue layer somehow like her mum? Is it green of all things? Or is it a royal Pink in hue?
Guess before looking
It is the official color of FBA, Beige.

The tree probably needs to come down. I'm pretty sure it died during the drought this summer. I was going to give it until spring to see if it wanted to try one more time.Do you think the whole tree needs to come down? People around here just trim their yard trees down to keep them for shade in summer as long as there's no root damage to surrounding walls or foundations. The branch trimming keeps the chances of broken wind damage from falling limbs.
However, our freeway roadside trees have never been trimmed in the almost 40 years I've lived here & branches from the roadway blow all over our yards! One of these days those tall trees will rot & fall on adjoining electrical power lines to cause injury, fire, or death!
This photo was from 15 yrs ago when we were remodeling the yard. Those trees, some maple, some acacia, & others, are even taller now but the highway agencies have never sent any tree trimmers ~ & the tree branches easily blow onto power & cable lines in the neighborhood. The electric company will responsibly take action along neighborhood streets to trim yard trees around company power lines but they have no jurisdiction to trim highway trees! Criminal behavior of the state highway agency not to do something of the danger! Residents have brought it to the agency's attention many times & they still do nothing.
These highway trees have the reach to fall onto the roof of our neighbor! We already get the boughs blown into our yards during storms.

The wind is incredible here yet again. I had a limb come down on the coop last night.

I need to take that tree down the rest of the way once the weather improves. Checking on the cameras I see no coop damage.
It seems someone is ready to lay!

Aurora stopped by to inspect her nest and provide some pointers on how to build one properly. Stand by everyone, we may have exciting news today!
