Am I neglecting my chooks? I usually go out and tuck them into the coop at bedtime, the last few days I have forgotten what time it is, and then I go out in the dark, and count them with my flashlight.
It’s just that I haven’t been feeling well lately, and I’m trying to get as much rest as I can. I haven’t heard from the doctor about my bloodwork yet. One doctor said that after the finger prick test, I was very anemic :idunnoView attachment 4046904
No you are a good Hooman to your chooks.

You need to care for yourself to make sure you are able to care for them.

Take iron.

Tylenol and fluids right?

Make your dad take some mucinex also (guaifenesin expectorant) to help with clearing crud in his lungs.

But yes he should see a dr if he has had 4 days of fever.

It may not be flu, it could be RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) https://www.lung.org/lung-health-diseases/lung-disease-lookup/rsv/symptoms-diagnosis

Make sure he gets to see a dr if he doesn’t improve by tomorrow.

You also be very careful, don’t get yourself over tired.

Yes Tylenol, Motrin alternating. Fluids, Musinex, inhaler and Rosie's nebulizer machine.

Mom has a appointment with her dr in the morning. Dad is going and if Rosie is still bad so is she. Our Doctor is good about letting people tag along when they are sick like this thankfully.

Update on the Stop Pick product.

Consensus is with those bad girls, is that it’s very tasty with blood feathers.

The stuff stinks and I am sure it doesn’t taste all that great but it doesn’t stop them from picking at him.

They are quite vicious about it also, they grab hold and just whale on the poor fella! They practically drag him across the floor to haul out a blood feather!

As a result he is banned forever from having those brats in with him.

I forgot to lock the pop door last night, so Blue, Dakota and Mr Wyandottey are already out in the yard. It’s cold out today. They will be fine though.
The others were looking at them likely thinking those three are crazy! We’re not going out there 😊
