She is a beautiful hen with tons of personality and curiosity. She has my heart.

I'm half Viking and and 1/4 ish ship builder (in the other half). It's no wonder I married a sailor and 2 of the kids went that route too.

My Pop would've loved you guys! He loved the ocean, fishing & hunting. Poor guy worked so hard he rarely had time to play. But when he did we had pheasant, venison, or Rock Cod meals. Rock Cod & pheasant were plentiful in the 1940's. Can't find those so much around here any more

We call them Caplin, we salt and dry them, then they can be BBQ’ed and eaten. The whole thing. Salty! Crunchy….
