Laverne tore off her dressing, so I had to scrub up her injury, and put on a new dressing.

I should have know she would wreck it digging through the manure!

But she was having a blast at least and now she has a new dressing that should be good for a few days.

Gosh she is just lovely. I would love to get a nice hen like her one day.

The munchkins I've known have all had fun personalities.

We have a Third Layer!

It seems someone else has started laying. Aster has joined them in laying in Hattie House.

The third could be Aurora or Lady Featherington. Lady Featherington used to have a spotted egg and I see no spots on this one.

Aurora's comb has turned red, Lady Featherington's has not.

I'm leaning towards Aurora.

Clean Coop = Fun

Mine were enjoying the clean coop today.

The straw is always a big hit!

It was over 50°F (10°C) so I cleaned the coop and did other assorted things in the yard. The girls enjoyed the weather and I loved being outside.

I even put some straw in Hattie House for Hattie and locked the other out so Hattie could enjoy it in peace.
