Hopefully if they are leghorn they don't have too big of combs. We have very wet winters here so I would worry about frostbite.

Your winters aren't that much different from mine and this comb survived several with no issues. I wouldn't worry too much.

To "The Monkeyman Fanclub".

I got home from work last night to find a package had arrived. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you. I sat looking at the case for 5 minutes with tears streaming before I even realized it was a puzzle.

I will now have to go to hobby lobby. I will put that puzzle together and have it framed and put up on my wall. The note was also very heartwarming.

Branch was never just a chicken. I am touched to see that my stories of him maybe changed some minds on roosters. I hope he showed people what a rooster can be. A loyal companion, a wonderful father and a best friend.

Purrcules does not hate Gale anymore. The cats claimed that old oat box as their bed. I was cleaning out the barn when this picture was taken. The barn door was open and I couldn't keep them out of their bed.
