All moved and happy. They have toys now, a pumice with bell, a mirror, a xylophone, and the cardboard drink carrier.

Same length as the old one but a foot deeper and a bit taller too.

Put the bigger brooder plate in as well




Boy I sure did end up with a lot of black birds! The other colored ones are going to stand out haha.

Probably too far to be driven over just for a chick playdate. Boooo. I'm in the Grand Rapids area.

Don’t worry there will always be chicks out there. I say if you’re not able to get them this year, just work on the new home for them and next year you can get them if not this year.

I am not getting any chicks this year, I can’t get any easily now, and I have a crap load of chooks anyways

This year it will be all about relaxing and enjoying them.

I told my coworker that cup holder was for ostrich eggs…. Gullibility seems to run rampant these days - he believed me.

They wi grow really fast now!!! Do you have a place you can turn them loose in during the day to fly around? An basement room maybe?

What’s your snow situation there? Seems no end to winter here. Snowing again - the chooks were super excited when I opened the barn door this morning to empty the wheelbarrow - it was like a traffic pile up when the front chooks slammed on their brakes hahahaha all the ones behind ran into them.

There was some dirty looks sent my way

Even the horses didn’t want to go outside, they tried to run back inside.

Aww yeah. I'm a bit north of Muskegon so not too terribly far. Maybe we can hang out one day!
