I need to remember that on here, it's not really like having a conversation, so things are out of context by the time they are read. I'm not a social media person at all. This is the only one I'm on. I need to remember to be more specific when I speak. lol

You and me both. I end up missing a lot of context for things 😅

Oh, no I didn't mean they look the same. Mine are definitely Australorps. I was speaking of the size. They were so tiny when we got them. In fact, we were there when they arrived from the hatchery. I've never picked up chicks from a farm store that small before. I have hatched them before, and these look like day olds to me, based on that experience. Mine are all black with white on their tummies, which will go away with feathering. One of mine has very little of the white. Maybe she will be blacker? 😁
I should have read ahead ~ yes the little tiny black & white chicks all seem to grow out all black as adults. I think you might have a good idea about your darker chickie. We had 3 Dom chicks & one definitely had more white on her body & 2 had less white & when all 3 were adults the whiter chick sported more silver feathers than black making her look a shade lighter than her 2 slightly darker sisters.

For every day being bed ridden or sedentary, it take 3 days of ‘working at it’ to get back to ‘normal’.

For example: If one has that 24hr stomach bug and in bed for a day and a half, it will take 4 or 5 days to get one’s self back to what they were capable of doing.

Be active! It go for your whole body!

Happy fluffy butt Friday

Therapy? Yeah, you're right about inactivity ~ the therapist says my 9 months in a sling needs weeks/months of gaining back mobility/strength. Just 2 weeks in a sling can take its toll on mobility so my 9-month immobility will take longer to treat.

Good morning! I've been so excited to share this but I wanted to wait until it was posted.

I was selected for a member interview!! :wee

I was so surprised because I haven't been here that long 😆
That's terrific:clap! It was 13 years before I got selected :lau

Yeah, I know, it was just too tempting to joke ~ but really, I feel sorry for any bird that lays giant eggs or too many eggs...❣️
I'm going to be checking for more/watching closely when finishing the cleanout on Sunday. I don't like them laying eggs that big.
