Happy Friday, everyone!
@Ponypoor I was down for...4 days? Where I wasn't even supposed to pick up my kid, I did anyways. Of course my recovery is going well enough, since it was just tonsil surgery.

I will try to get fluffy butt pics later. I finally got to sleep in this morning and I'm moving slowly haha.
Sounds like you’re on the mend
♥️♥️♥️

That’s wonderful! Now you can really take morrow photos of those chickies 🥰

I just know the calcium spots on my eggs are because every time I give them oyster shell they eat it like food... 🤦‍♂️

I'd like to have it available for them 24/7 but they gobble it up so fast and spill it constantly. So I give it to them every 3 or 4 days. Dad and I are working on a solution though (we're going to modify their chick feeder so it hangs, put the OS in there).

Oh! Update on the eggs-stomach issue. Grandma made hard boiled eggs to go with dinner yesterday and neither dad nor I had problems!
Glad to hear this! ♥️

Only Clyde has had issues this winter. Betty his 1/2 sister was fine. But Clyde seems to struggle in the cold.
I should clarify and add to this, Red and Mrs LC have been spending the night in the feedroom, it’s kept at 11C (52f), so they were able to stay warm at night which meant less calories to burn for an old lady or a wee little chickie. I really should have brought Clyde in also. Next winter he will be in the feedroom at night when it’s cold.

Though I am hoping next winter will be like last winter - very mild.

Don’t over do it, we are not 5 yrs old anymore!

Even though I may act that way from time to time ♥️

I am confused. I think this says something different.

Teehee! Round & round he goes...how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood⁉️ This guy's explanation is one for rural mouse to sort for us.

This is one of many reasons I never got into breeding or showing birds. Just to understand my own cuckoo birds for my own education, i.e. Dominiques primarily, I had to buy The American Dominique by Mark Fields.
