Photo taken some time ago.

It is raining today, and I saw one of the ferals trying to find shelter. I shooed it to the side of the house since there is shelter there. They won't let me get close without them running from me.

I always liked Ferrell’s ice cream parlor. Loads of fun and wonderful ice cream dishes!! “The trough” my favorite. I always made a pig of myself.

Yes importantly chicken time. I finished unloading the feed and throwing down hay. I spent time brushing the horses. Now I am sitting on my lawn chair, Babe is keeping me company, she is having a preening session.

When I arrived back home this morning, Aero jumped up onto my arm “daddy, Watcha got for me today?” She’s getting to be a big girl! I flew to Sacramento late last night. (Paid passengers) Flew back home this morning.

Just did some weights on a few of the chooks.

Clyde - 1.455kg (3.2lb)
Cash - 6.4lb
Shirley - 9lb not as big as I thought he would be.

9 pounds??? That's a big rooster!!!

It’s not the age of the person, but rather the condition that causes hardship. Arthritis, bursitis, ocular degeneration, all the other itises out there. Yes we slow down, but with me, I calculate my every movement: can I comfortably complete the task? What will I need to accomplish the task?
Will I get out of breath? Will my back muscles hold up to complete the task?
Is the task important enough to just hire someone to do it, if I can’t do it?
Will the task interfere with my precious chicken time?

That was a blast from the past!!! I haven't seen one of those in many decades! Loved that place!

Oliver is back.
I haven't seen him for a week but he's had his two meals today

The scale arrived and I dosed out as close to 100mg as I could. Then I mixed with 10cc of water and gave him 1cc. Hopefully I haven’t over dosed him.

It sure isn’t much to make 100mg!

I was started at .11g but for some reason jumped to .17g

At any rate I figured he was 1.5kilos so I gave him 100mg-ish of the mixture.
