It's currently 82°F (28°C). I am sitting out with the ladies under the magnolia tree for the first time this year. Blueberries have been devoured. Now it is on to grass.

It sure was a nice day in our state, wasn't it, Bob?
I'm looking forward to more nicer weather. Not specifically 80 degree weather, but nice and sunny.
For everyone: the chickens had some fun outside today. Well, Grandma would rather sit and pluck flowers and other various plants in that black crate. The others decided to enjoy the plants in the crate as well.

Do hens babysit (or egg sit) for each other?
Tassels just went tearing back to her nest after my forced outing. She saw Piglet in the nest (laying an egg I assume) and turned around and came back out for some more self-care.
I don't know about Tassels or Piglet but I know Silkies share sleeping together, laying eggs together, brooding together ~ & altho I never hatched chicks other Silkie owners said they had Silkie mommas set on the same eggs & co-parent the hatched babies.

Silkies are a sharing bunch:

They are all looking wonderful!

Just the right height for Horse and/or Deer snacks....
Squirrels - I rarely see deer outside the bush here. And the horses are not near to barn front door. But I know a few of the chooks can fly that high. May need to keep the loft door closes this summer.
