Few rain drops sent some of the chickens into their covered run.

This is a Tuesday Twofer of Ralphie and Lory.

Lori and one of the buffs. Another Tuesday Twofer. Too many buffs to say which this one is at the moment. Oh looks like another buff is hiding behind Lori.

I guess the chicks didn't load. I'll have to try them in a separate post.
Beautiful flock you have there. Your Roo is very handsome ♥️

It must be. 😆

How they make us worry. I was so excited to see it jump up into the food!
This morning Holly hopped up onto the horses’ feed buckets to scarf back some breakfast hahaha - poor Jolly has yet to figure this out. Not sure how she learnt this. Maybe she saw one of the other flock members doing this.

These GOSHDARN birds.
Yeti is splattered with blood. Periwinkle has a bloody spot on her comb (yeti was not bloody when I saw that spot this morning) and Goldiebird has blood on his face too? I can't wait to move them to have more space, they're all wing to wing in the coop right now and it's supposed to be icy tonight. :barnie
They will peck at any sore at that age. Do you have any blue-kote spray?

I noted Shirley broke a feather on his leg, I’ll have to give it a spray. These birds sure like to give us a challenge!

She is being a pain right now but sure, she is sweet. That cats just love her.
Kids and pets - they are the best 😊 we let the kids run wild here, only rules are to stay out of the paddocks with the horses and stay off the road.

Should also tell them to stop climbing trees, sticky sap is hard to clean of clothes!

Oh and not to chase the chooks! All they have to do is sit on the lawnchair and they will have them all hopping to visit!

I have blue food coloring I can dab on injuries. I will assess tomorrow when I am not battling vertigo and a migraine.

Also, yep we were free range (kinda) kids. Our big rule was we couldn't climb past a certain point on our big pine tree. Mom didn't care about the sap because we had GOJO and Lava soap, it was punishment enough having to scrub with that stuff 😆
