Is it normal for a chook to want to be aggressive, yet still be tame enough to be petted? Mama hen is strange like that. One minute she’s satisfied and the next she’s seen the movie Jurassic Park and acts like a velociraptor

She’s a mama, so yup. She is likely just trying to be a mama and a pet.

It was not a very warm day today, but I did get some lawn chair time, might even have a bit of a sunburnt nose.

I had a bit of fun with the chooks but seems I cannot paste copied links tonight so that will have to wait. In the meantime here are Clyde’s favourite ladies….

Face Down

I can't explain it. But even Polish chicks sleep face down. They have no poofy hairdos yet. I don't get it but it is so.
