It’s mayhem in the barn tonight, all the chooks are agitated, and they did not want to go to bed.

Just check the cam and everyone seems to have settled. Not happy to see Tippy up on the door with the other three. Will have to stop that this weekend.

Ha - I wish! Zoom in and you will see they are not flowers but dandelion heads.
Why my Princesses won’t eat dandelion flowers before they go to seed is a mystery to me.

They Own Me

These chicks can sure pluck my heart strings

They were in the rabbit hutch in the yard cheeping to go to bed. I went out opened the door and they lined up to be carried. I scooped them up and headed towards the Cluckle Hut.

As soon as Niamh saw we weren't coming in the house she screamed and started trying to get out of my arms. When I put them in the Hut they ran over to me asking me to take them in the house. I rubbed their chests and told them it was OK. They would be alright.

They made me feel so bad that I went into the house and brought them out some meal worms.

@RoyalChick informed me that the chicks had me wrapped around their fingers so to speak. I admit it's true and I don't mind it.
