We have some coop drama lately. Goldie bird has taken up grabbing the girls by the head and dragging them. I told him if he doesn't knock it off he's going in the slow cooker. He has a week to learn some manners. I understand neck grabbing is part of mating but he is doing it whenever the girls try to go in the coop, eat or drink, or even walk by him. Just dragging them away from whatever they were trying to do.

There's a possibility that I might get a blood test soon, or some test, in general.

Still not doing so great.

I suggest skipping your GP and just going to emerg/urgent care - they can do all the tests in one go at the hospital, and hopefully you can get answers to why you’re not feeling well.

Bird netting is fairly cheap for gardens. Fits right over tomato cages. Cut to size.

Yup I am planning on putting that over top the fences in part, I am sure they will figure out they can fly in there at some point.

I am waiting to see who tries to fly up onto my hanging flowers!

Bad boy! You need a few bigger old grumpy old hens I have a bunch you can borrow. The boys are terrified of them! Meanwhile Mr P loves them and they adore him! They only have eyes for him.

A little bit ago, Gytha bit Sybil, TWICE! Well that was just unacceptable! Sybil put her back in her place by grabbing her by the neck, jumping up and kicking her away while pulling her neck feathers. After that they joined the rest and went scratching around harmoniously.

I wonder if Gytha is pre-broody? She's been ornery and restless, and usually she doesn't challenge Sybil or Aliss, but goes after Esme and Magrat.

She’s right. Sometimes urgent care is the best option. I’m stuck juggling specialists in too many different offices and hospitals. I have good insurance coverage, and I think it’s their intention to make as much money off of me as they can. It’s no wonder why medical insurance costs so much !!

He does it when Marble is in the coop or other run. He tried it a bit ago and Buffy tackled him. So he is getting thumps when they are there.
