I just took a bird bath!
I sprinkled breadcrumbs on me, and then there they came, all over me. Even the Rocks were involved.

I like it when my chooks show such interest in me. They want to be picked up, many want to snuggle I don’t force them (except for Mr. Rudy Wyandottey)
He’s stubborn but that’s expected.
He’s a roo, and there’s nothing I can do!

I’m careful when hand feeding the birds. Those beaks can cause injury. Chickens don’t know the difference between a finger and a hotdog just saying

One of my newest little ones has the deepest blue eyes. I took a few minutes, just staring into them. I know sadly that the eyes will turn yellow in time.
The Pullet reminded me of the blue eyes that my father had.

I’m in the coop counting the chickens. All the littles are in. Every Rock is in except for flash. She’s a stubborn old hen. There are more in the yard, but the sun hasn’t set over the horizon yet.

Okay, so let me provide an explanation as to what's going on.
So, today I'm still not getting any better. I feel like talking it out and trying not to think about it too much helps. Food doesn't quite help. Yesterday, an appointment for the doctor has been made but I won't be going there until September 11th. My stomach feels fine now but I took a nap several hours ago and I woke up with a headache. I still have a mini headache, but hopefully I can sleep well. Now, here are pictures and I'll add in more pictures tomorrow, as well as a Caturday.

A week ago all mine were mid roost-rumble by 8:20 every night and I had the auto door set for 8:30. This week 3 chickens have missed the door everyday. Here in Washington the sun won’t set until 10 pm by the solstice
