I’m looking at Dakota, and she looks very healthy. I think she’s conning me about her health. She pretends to be weak and needs to get out of the heat and into the house. She’ll hang around my feet, pretending to peck at the grass, even if there isn’t any grass. She knows that soon enough, I’ll pick her up and go inside. (There’s cool air conditioning inside) there’s corn inside, fresh water and safflower seeds inside. Possibly some steak strips also. That Dakota, she’s no dummy. IMG_5303.jpeg

It's been a few days so let me tell you what has been happening to the chickens. But first.

Oh wait. I already showed this photo. Well I have a lot of photos of this kitty but they all seem to be the same that you have all already saw them.
Chicks Update
Poor Blondie has not been feeling good yesterday, even today. Yesterday, when it was about to rain, Old Woman picked her up to put her in the coop and she vomited. She didn't vomit today but it was just water. Old Woman suspected that the watermelon could've been the reason. Raven looks fine. She gave her electrolyte water (which you can find in a packet) and gave her some food. Blondie is feeling slightly better today but not 100%.

She looks like that because she was drinking water.

Anyways, I don't have pictures from today unfortunately but Raven was just too energetic and didn't care about her sick friend. She kept moving around in the little box and flapping her wings, hitting her. That's how it is being a little chick. I'll try to get a photo of them in the box tomorrow.
I am sorry to hear she is not well, maybe coccidiosis, are you feeding a medicated chick feed? Or you can get amprolium and add to everyone’s water.

Sure hope she is doing better soon.
