This vet, doesn’t prescribe any brand name items because of possible copyright infringement. :idunno
Meloxicam is the generic name for the medication. Not a brand name. Just like Acetaminophen is the generic and Tylenol is the brand. It is also widely used in veterinary practice for many animals. I got it prescribed for my chickens, and have also gotten it for llamas, etc.

I think you were being funny here? Meloxicam is the generic name for this drug, the brand name is Metacam. :idunno
Nope, I wasn’t trying to be funny. My vet usually only sees horses. She’s made an exception for me because she knew I was desperate. The only other veterinarian was at the college in Fresno. Here’s little Elsa for my tax payment: image.jpg

I could call her and ask for Meloxicam to give to Chick-fil-a :idunno

She thinks she’s a big hen, but she was the runt of the hatch. She has always been small for a Rhode Island Redhead.
She has been a beloved friend and companion since Sir Jaffar passed away. But she’s a typical redhead, doesn’t want to be petted, and is stubborn as anything! I even dated a ginger many years ago, so I know a little about them!

No offense to any other redheads out there, my Sandy was high maintenance, and hard to afford at that time.
