She truly is.Magnificent!
They were a lot of fun. I just couldn't stand it when we had to sell the young ones, we just couldn't keep all of them or we'd be overrun. In the fall or following spring it didn't matter, their mama would call and call for them. It broke my heart. Now imagine that rattling noise if you’re a ditzy horse and you see that and the noise for the first time
He’s a beauty! Wish I could get peafowl…
Hahaha um noHe's beautiful! You could probably get eggs in the spring. Wonder how many peafowl eggs a chicken could brood?
They are very good Roosters so far. They work together and Thyme even tries to look out for the Silkies like they are eternal chicks or something. If they sound distressed at all he runs over to check on them. They're gorgeous! And the look in their eyes: gentle, alert
They are grown up, deep sigh 17 weeks tomorrow, not one egg yet though but very soon I think.Oh, my, they are too young to look so handsome & all grown up already!!!!![]()

I don't have a much "residue" as @Ponypoor does when I clean up. Yesterday was coop cleaning day.
Here is the result. I call it Mount Coopmore!

Mine also climb the pile to dig through it.

Only Hattie scales the heights to lay down though!
