But how many people can read that properly...lol
I actually first learned that before the commercial ever came out...lol

Golf ball with legs...too funny 🤣
Glad I am not the only person with that jingle stuck in their long term memory.

Every time I see a toy dumptruck I remember the one I had as a kid, I'd leave it out in the back yard and after it rained I'd make "Mrs Grass soup" by adding grass and stirring it with a stick. Some dirt for flavor too, naturally. I want it back 🤣 those days were so simple

Another theory: They do this so you have to take photos every evening to share with us! The fans must have their pics 🖤 🤍 🖤

Coop door is put together with help from my assistant, Sherlock. He made sure I didn't stiffen up staying in one spot working on it by requesting ball tosses....interspersed with rolling on the grass and washing the ball.

I only had to pull and fix 1 screw (yay!). Coffee break, followed by pics, then 1st finishing coat of polyurethane. Hoping it dries enough to do the other side today too.

After 1st coat, heading to coop to evaluate hanging options in an effort to neutralize Demon Murphy with the idea of getting it hung Sunday.

@Ponypoor always says the same 🤔
So does that mean there's more coming in?

No there are no additional chickies coming here this year.

But…. The man I get my hay from now had 18 pullets (one might be a cockerel - I’ll take a photo of it today).

2 are cream legbars with jaunty little topknots 😊👍 I am heading over there shortly with some meds for their one pullet who was attacked by a dog. His wife is a Nurse so she cleaned up the wee thing, I had a look and I am worried about the location of the wound over the hip.

I am going to drop over some wormer (I have way too much it will just be a waste so I am sharing), and some antibiotics. Dog bites are full of bacteria.

Their kids really are enjoying them, the one youngster told her mum ‘I’m taking her for a walk, she’s going to live her best life’.

Hahaha she proceeded to pick up the pullet go for a walk - where do kids come up with these things?
😆😆😆

The man I get the hay from stated ‘they aren’t afraid, they are constantly under foot, I have to be careful when I am using the tractor, they just don’t move’ - well now that sounds familiar! He even built them an awesome coop! It’s huge!

So only 3 are named as of yet. I told them about chicken math, and all.

They are going to have such fun!

Ok well I am off to visit with them, I don’t need any more of my own chooks, I’ll enjoy everyone else’s chooks!

Yes always analyze your options - don’t give Murphy and power!
