Good lord this can probably come off as racist from me. It is 1000% not I swear, even if it sounds like it.

Caribbean music to me, first thought is Reggae. Then next thought immediately jumps to Bob Marley. That right there is 4 names, Reggae or Reggie, Bob and Marley. Not a single one of those fit for one reason alone. That mindset of naming, I would want to bestow upon a black cockerel, not a white one. I also need to point out, Black is my absolute favorite color among the chickens, silkies included.
They say “once you’ve gone black, Never mind.

Here, the delivery people end up going up to 30 miles one way for some of that. It's a bit of a long drive sometimes.

I can’t even get a pizza order delivered. And I think the new Little Cesar’s pizza commercial is their best one yet. Pizza, pizza!🍕

Here’s tax I’m sure I owe. image.jpg

Our juvenile hawk is getting bold too but TG it's hunting after the easy to grab Sparrows.

No ~ time ⏰ isn't flying... it just runs faster than us oldsters can walk :old

I’ll have to remember that one!

No hawks just naughty chooks that scream at everything and make me jump every time!

Sorry to hear you are still unwell. Did you go into the hospital the other day, or at least consult a doctor in urgent care? I hope you are following doctor's orders!
This will blow over. I don’t want to risk catching any additional germs from any hospital or the clinic. I actually drove my car back from town today, because I felt able enough to do it. :celebrate

Don't pick too early to ripen off the tree. We wait for a light blush of color on the skin but fruit is still very firm...then pick to ripen at room temp. You'll get a feel for doing it after a while. I accidentally cut a branch w/ a half ripened grapefruit on it & tried leaving it on the cut branch to ripen but the fruit sadly was a little too young/green to develop more & just dried up. Sometimes I accidentally prune a tomato vine w/ robust but unripened green tomatoes still on it... but the fruit will usually ripen to red w/i a week if left on the cut off vine.

Ginny really tries to get at the cherry tomatoes thru our garden bed netting!

Sorry, but the extra roll of netting on the ground, looked like a big fish laying there!:gig:lau:idunno Who leaves fish in their yard?

I've been out with the chickens this morning and got some new pictures. I think we need to talk about my white silkie Calypso. I believe a name change may be in order dang it. While there is definitely no attempts at crowing yet, and Calypso is the 2nd smallest I am seeing things that cannot be ignored. They hatched May 7th to May 9th so just over 3 months old now. Still a bit young as far as silkies go to attempt crowing anyway. It's the tail and the head poof that are doing it for me. That and what I spotted today when looking up close at the comb, color changing already. Yes I let out a string of curse words after a real close look at the comb. Now, regardless, he's staying, I'll make it work somehow, but I am open to name suggestions. He's still a sweetheart and very friendly. I would almost name him "Brad" after the late white silkie "Useless Farms" had. Brad was a jerk though, I'm almost afraid to use it and Calypso turn into a jerk after his namesake. I'm still very tempted anyway. I loved Brad and his jerkiness from afar.

Prince is another name I'm toying with after "chookens" lovely sweet white boy.

So friends, who is he? Is he Brad or is he Prince? I'm also open to suggestions for this little guy.
He looks like a Thorton to me.
