Getting the Band Back Together

Today was a big day. This afternoon Niamh chose to leave the house and rejoin the other chickens. Her she is out and about!

One of the first things she did was take a bath!

Come bedtime there was no debate about where to sleep. Up she went!

She is now in the nest box with Joy enjoying the heat from the heater. It should be nice and toasty for them tonight.

I’m here in the house negotiating with Mr Wyandottey. He’s such a great rooster, that I thought it should share some steak with him. Did I ever say that I love my beautiful roo? He’s a charmer to the ladies and fights for the finish, like a soldier! Breaks up fighting, shows everyone where food comes from. He deserves knighthood by the reigning Queen her majesty Queen Aurora!
