Opened the coop last night to find it freshly covered in feathers, I thought they were at the tail end of moulting, but apparently not! Also found an egg from Lumi which was a nice surprise, it had been a week since anyone laid.
Getting a new roof this weekend, good news for the house, but probably not us. We know our landlord wants to sell, and I am sure this is prep. Finding housing around here is so hard, animals make it 10 times harder. Trying to block out the stress of even thinking about it.
