Anticipation on an all time high
Very nervous and excited because today I get to take my road test. I know it seems easy and I've practiced for a while but it's going to be a bit different compared to practicing with my dad. I have high hopes that I will succeed. I need prayers. A lot of them.
Luckily, Tony doesn't have to drive even though she's the eldest one...

Good luck! I’m sure you’ll do great!

I’m getting mine later this year, if my parents let me. I’ve been driving around a bit but I need to really start driving.

Anyways, you’ll do amazing!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. I'm proud to say that I passed the first time. My father was happy, but was also bothered by the way I parked between the cones. The words still disturb me but at least I received my license. I'll find a chicken photo later.
Yay! Congratulations!
Ignore what he said, parallel parking (assuming that’s what it is, and if not, all parking. I STRUGGLE to do any type of parking) is really difficult. What matters is that you passed, and you can continue to practice your parking.

Good morning everyone! It’s blowing a good dwy here today, time to try out the new snowblower - oh joy….

@Pastel the Rooster here’s something you can try (because heaven knows I had my fair share of not liking people
In high school), someone suggested that when I want to say that I hated so-and-so, instead I should say what it was that mad me so irritated about them. This made me think what it was I really wanted to say, and really rather increases my vocabulary hahaha. So instead of just say a blanket ‘I hate…’ I would launch into what it was I found so vexing about a person. For instance if could mention to my friends the following: ‘Jennifer makes me so mad, she turned her nose up at me, sneered at me and told me I was a loser! Well don’t know why she is so mean, maybe she’s jealous that I have the highest marks in class, but that’s still no reason to be rude to me’.

That is better than just a blanket statement of ‘I hate her’, who knows why she was so rude. Everyone has problems that only they know, all we can do is breath deep and move on.

Parallel pkg isn't required here. W/ cars mfr'd larger & wider, & lanes being marked narrower & narrower I guess DMV doesnt bother w/it here. Or maybe it depends on the tester person:idunno

What kind of feeder is it? I am having this issue now for the first time in 3 years. I was looking at one of those step on type ones. So if you remove the food source, the rats move on? I tried one of those bucket traps and it caught a bird only and the bird drowned because we added water to the bucket to kill any rats. Not a single rat was caught. I only have 3 girls and it breaks my heart, but I may just rehome them. I have a cat that catches some, but she wants to bring them in the house through the dog door so now I have to keep it shut ( which created another problem). We live in the country and I have never seen the likes. They got in my garage too after we had the door replaced and it didn't fit the same.
With or without chickens you will have rodents. I live in the suburbs & for the 1st 25 yrs here we had no chickens & the neighborhood still had vermin. Vermin multiply fast & it's a never-ending battle to avoid them. The last 15 yrs w/ chickens is no different. Poison, snap traps, water bucket traps, sticky traps, are useless & poison is not safe. Cats are great to catch one or two a week but our traps catch more.

Our chickens(Silkies) are afraid of different treadle feeders that we've tried & would rather starve than use them. Treadle feeders only keep out vermin anyway but doesn't kill them. So we resorted to humane traps to catch rats & drown them while still inside the cage. We catch sometimes up to 2-3 rats in one week. Kill a rat or mouse lessens more babies in future.

We leave this trap baited w/ smelly jerky or cheese & leave previous rat droppings untouched so the vermin think it's safe to enter the trap when they smell other rat droppings around the trap. The trap always stays in one place safe away from chickens 24/7. Rats/mice get suspicious if their pathways get disturbed so the trap never gets moved around & the droppings remain as further "bait".

It was parallel parking, like going in reverse to park next to the curb, not backing into a parking spot.

Love the new soft-boil/hard-boil/raw egg cutter! & it's more compact size than it looks in videos. It cut perfect circle cuts. So much easier than trying to peel a soft-boil egg getting shell peeled unevenly around the soft egg w/ arthritis fingers! It's easy to peel hard boiled eggs but not easy w/ soft steamed eggs but this gadget makes it easy. I'm sold on this arthritis gadget.

My very first two cut soft eggs worked perfectly

It's still a pass/fail here...despite the fact that people will orbit the block to find a space they can nose into from the empty space behind/non existent space (alley).

So sorry that you are having such huge problems 😕
Hopefully you will find a solution really soon. Maybe @RoyalChick has the right answer.
Good luck
