Let’s discuss Noirans. Kelly’s might be true breed Noirans, but mine are Norians , not dark chocolate egg layers. Mine lay California style light chocolate eggs. So I will call mine Norians. What else should I call them?
Like some EE’s are called Americana’s spelled differently than Ameraucana’s (marketing strategy only)

Noirans are just a hybrid of a Marans and local breed hens (in France) to produce a more robust egg layer…. Marketing talk….
