Gender?

I got this little bantam Cochin out of an assorted bantam bin. I’m really hoping it’s a girl because I only have one other little bantam to go with him/her. The other one I’m pretty positive is a girl. (I have full size chickens that I’ve decided to keep separate because I have a full size rooster and I was worried about him hurting my little bantams) Estimated age is 4 1/2 weeks old. TIA

Looks like a cockerel. I have tiny 1-2lb bantams with 14 lb roosters. The large roosters fraternize with the large hens, and never ever pay attention to the bantams. I think they may see them as babies or something. Not sure. But I’ve never had an issue with bantams amidst the full size roos/hens. I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you have a violent roo.

Well crap 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ How does a rooster do with only one hen? 🤣 (until later when I can get more bantams?)
I have several bantam couples. A pair of white and a pair of golden laced. The hen is bonded to them, and the roos will go after bigger hens as well. If you have larger hens too I wouldn’t worry too much.
