Background: After loosing the last of my husbands Arabians to mystery death and a long hard battle with founder (ages 25, 28, 29) We went to pick out our first "his and her" horses and after looking at many, I chose this handful. He was 3yo and on 16 acres of beautiful tropical pasture and largely ignored. He was too tall for the owner so he did not want. I fell in love. I'm a sucker for the underdog and knew that we had the resources, patience and tenacity to turn him into a good boy.
Other: He was terribly disrespectful. Went through two bouts with the trainer, breaking her hand, wrist, trailer... she tried real hard see what I saw. I also wanted him trained, not "broke" . Background: Saw him on craigslist and it happened to be our good friends selling. She had taken her mares to breed and took Cisco and brother to train. Worked out wonderfully.
