gs fished the little serama roo out of Flos pond again. He was froze, starved and very friendly. I dont know if he is in love with the duck or trying to commit suicide. He needs a new home what ever the reason. Need to find one of those homes where they put diapers on them and they get petted every day. He is very sweet just not breeding material. He limps like i do.

Maybe he just wanted to be sure he got to come in for another nap with the nice lady in the house.....

Granny I have 4 really great dogs in my life. A Manchester terrier when I was a kid. She got cancer in her lymph nodes. A corgi cross when I was in my 20's. She died in her sleep. An Australian shepherd that I bought just to get her out of the corn crib she had been in since she was weaned. And Star who was her grand daughter. Yes, I miss all of them, I get tears in my eyes every time I dust Star's box.

Since I read up through Dec 2014 and would like to read the rest up to now, how do u jump to a certain page without scrolling through? That would take forever. I enjoy the banter and everyone's stories.

If you click on the ... where about 12 page numbers are listed out (either just above the first post or just under the last post on the page) it will let you type in the page # you want.

Well, Eloise is a chick stomper. This morning she still had 14 eggs. After supper they were pipping and zipping. She currently has 9-10 eggs, and I pulled two perfectly formed and fully hatched dead chicks out of the straw. Not sure about the other 2-3 eggs? It's really upsetting. But my bator isn't up, and I don't have brooder space anyway. So I'll have to just keep letting nature take its course. :/

:fl that the marans hen does better.

oh, so sorry to hear that camping. That happened to me as well but the broody was with the flock . I believe she was over protecting the eggs.
