i try my best anything else you need to know about the breed , i got this HUGE book from my grandmother and it tells all , its about 5 books in 1 i love it

also i want to contest the egg laying weeks , i believe its more like 19 earliest to 26 weeks the latest

1 NHR laid her first egg on the day she turned 19 weeks and has laid 16 eggs in 17 days. 1 NHR, 1 BO, and 1 Wellie has not laid yet. I got em all as babies on 4-11-09. The other NHR started squatting yesterday when I reached down to pick her up. The other one did that just before she started laying. The other 2 run away when I try to pick them up. Oh yea the eggs are small and brown. The first one was a double yolk.

When they were babies I picked them up alot. The BO and the Wellie never liked it so much but at first I had a Wellie Roo that was real friendly. I gave him to a friend I work with.

My BA's laid at 19-22 weeks it was like a 50/50 thing
