Ok so I noticed when he was a couple days old that his neck feathers weren’t drying all the way and looked bristly. They seem fine now but his stomach is the issue. It’s very very dry, and almost matted. He is such a big boy and we are going to move him to a new enclosure soon. Another is on the way on Christmas Eve:love(fingers crossed) I attempted a bath in the sink when he was ten days (14 now), but he was even too big then so I’ll have to do it in my tub. I’m planning on introducing veggies like dark lettuce and cabbage...is cabbage fine or is it not? And do I have to provide grit? Enjoy the pictures:)

How adorable:love Okay he needs a new feed bowl and water bowl if your using a chick waterer they need to wash there faces constantly especially when eating. Any time you introduce anything other than chick/water fowl feed they need grit[chick grit] . Cabbage is fine just chop it fine before serving same with lettuce.

Aww I hope you get another little one for this baby. Keep us updated.

Ok I love the example, I’ll make one modeled after it. Should I put rocks in the bottom? The little guy has started to barely hiss when I grab him lol.(he runs off) And when he’s content and in my lap he makes a gutteral noise. He’s growing so much every day and he’s very frisky now. I have so many battle scars from his nails lol and he bites a bit but it’s more cute than anything. I just hope it won’t become a habit. I truly hope his sibling makes it.

Yes rocks to hold it down. I bet he's a handful now. Just don't play with his bill with your hands. it's get then into the habit of biting. They are so precious when babies and so smart too. Keep up with the pics we love those pics.
