When did he finish absorbing the yolk they don’t usually eat or drink for 24 hrs. What is the sock suppose to do? Can it pick it’s head up?
You might be right. His spine seems crooked and everytime he walks one leg drags behind he other and he ends up on his back. Last night there was still a bit of yolk left and this morning we took him out. I thought he might be spraddle legged so I put him in a sock. I’m keeping his head and spine straight and he’s w me.I too am wondering what the purpose for the sock is. He also just hatched, and sometimes it can take them awhile to find their feet.
I don’t. Do I need it? Do you think she will be ok. I actually think it’s a girl. She looks like the hunchback of notre dame, like she is hunched over.Okay so you have Poultry Nutri drench? You could try giving him tiny drops if he can hold his head up.@Pyxis
I’ll post a pic right now. She can hold her head up, she is just unable to walk.Let’s hope tomorrow she’ll be better. Yes Poultry Nutri drench is great for hatchlings. TSC has it. Can she hold her head up at all.
