I know this is not what you want to hear right now (and I don't blame you) but if you are going to raise chickens then you are going to have to be able to cull. That is just the way it is. Suffocation, freezing all of those methods are really inhumane. A heavy duty pair of shears will do the job quickly.

Here, there is a humane way involving baking soda and vinegar I think. It creates fumes that kills the chick without any decapitation. Here is the article. Not humane at all. Especially without proper regulation. It is essentially suffocation.

Yes, I agree. Decapitaion is the best way. It will be the hardest for you, but 1000% best for the chick. Hugs!

If you can't do it on you own then have a friend do it but DON'T use the baking soda method!
Use shears it is quick and the chicks fells no pain.
