Are your eggs from Foxfire Farms in Idaho? Those are all breeds I think Cindy has.

Good eyes! 2 hatched from blue eggs. 3 from Olive eggs. I didn't see the flocks but imagine Easter egger or Ameraucana is in their lineage somewhere close. The roo with the blue egg hens was Road Island Red. The roo with the Olive hens was Blue Laced Red Wyandotte.

No, they're local. I don't like shipping eggs...

They're absolutely lovely! I had an Americauna/Mutt chick hatch, and she looks nothing like an easter egger right now.

While we're exchanging crazy animal stories (little graphic), I have a gray tiger cat who disappeared for several days, and when he came back, some of his guts were hanging out. He wouldn't let us help him, and it took a few months, but his insides just shriveled up and went back inside of him. He's fine now. Cats. Nine lives.

She sent a bunch of extras, which is good because there were quite a few saddled air cells, especially in the silvers....there were two cracked wheaten eggs. One so bad I think I'll just toss it, and the other I put clear nail polish on and set it anyway. Box was in perfect condition, so idk how they got cracked. Anyway, I got them and they are officially cooking!

What I believe are the BBS, but some have what is either a C or L on them...waiting on a text back from seller to know for sure...
I think these are all Wheatens, but those are not exactly clear Ws...guess we'll find out.

Ugh...so glad they're here. It's been really stressful waiting for them. Now I just have to stress about temp and humidity levels, and the wonky air cells and cracks...it should be fine
ETA: The cracked ones are silvers, not wheatens...also, I decided not to toss the worse one. I put clear nail polish on it and set it too. I figured the silvers could use all the help they can get. I want as many as possible to hatch.

I had a rooster named Gandalf and two hens named Bupu and Laurana. Unfortunately now I only have Silvara, but I hatched one of her eggs two days ago. Lavenders are awesome.

Lavender Orpingtons?

No, Ameraucanas. I got BBS, BBS Wheaten, and Silver Ameraucanas. I'm thinking she threw in a few of her Lavender Ameraucanas too, tho. I didn't order then, but mentioned I planned on getting some. I think she added them as extras. Not sure yet. She still hasn't answered me. I hope she can give me an official count of what she sent.
