That’s why I moved it to a different room. So the temp could be more consistent. I set the thermostat and closed the curtains and left it alone so that it stays more consistent.

And that’s true but even now the calibrated one has been mostly agreeing with the others.

Have you figured out yet just how off each of those other thermometers are yet by comparing it to your calibrated one?

You can't expect it to stay exact...the temp...with the constant opening and with it not being in a room where the temp stays the same.

Normal because one side has a turner motor, right?

Yeah but I thought with a fan it wasn’t supposed to vary that much? Seems like such a huge variance would screw up people’s hatches?

Some of those eggs quit in those first few days.
I can tell by looking at them.

So do you think me messing with it did it?

#3 I think was the number of one of them.

Really? Huh. Weird. Wouldn’t that kill all the eggs though?

If you have the bator set too high yes it will kill them.

Yeah but even with it being in a more consistent room it’s still going up and down like crazy. But maybe that’s because I keep opening it.

And not yet, haven’t had the time to stare at it yet today, but I think maybe only like a degree
