I'm glad to see some good news this morning on the eggs! I truly think that the turner was very ineffective or not working especially since the eggs have now corrected. At least you caught it when you did!
I have only 4 days left
Im thinking about taking my turner out today. I took the turner out of day 15 my first hatch, today is day 17. Local egg chicks are so cramped I wouldn't be shocked if they try to hatch too early!
Yeah they hatch Sunday... DH was going to pick up all the cardboard that I was using as a flooring for the brooder with wood shavings on top. I had to remind him that we have chicks coming on Sunday because he completely forgotThanks!! I think you are right. Just wish I had caught it even sooner and gotten the thermometer sooner. Maybe I could have saved more. Although I haven’t adjusted the incubator temp or anything even with the thermometer cause it just proved everything is fine so not sure that part really changed much but I guess maybe if I had it I wouldn’t have messed with it as much in the beginning.
And OMG already!? Seems like you just set them yesterday haha
And I think that’s a good idea!!!

I'm heading outside right now to let the little psychos free out of their house. I'm going to try to take pics of them. Hopefully that can't get out now that we put fencing on the bottom. We used deer fencing that I used for my enclosure for the layers and some parts have heavy duty chicken wire.
