I don’t know about that... but they were the best cows ever! If you’re ever feeling down, all you need to do is brush and hug a cow. Therapy horses are overrated, and should be replaced with cows, they are far nicer, and often smell better. I also trained my 3 cats to leashes and “down” (I get a little cross when they walk across the kitchen counters with their dirty litter box paws) as well as to sit and shake a paw. So Most people think I’m a little crazy.
The pics are gorgeous! And I love the cows :love.. so sweet!
You are not crazy.. that’s awesome! I tell people all the time that you can train cats.. I agree about them being on my counters :sick.. mine know “down” as well but they actually know better not to even get up there at all... well, when I’m around.. that is.. I’m no dummy:rolleyes:

Yes, mine have been bullying my mother since September 2017... I need to get them back living with me. She’s let them pick up all sorts of bad habits like jumping up, stealing her food from her plate, she will let them paw at her sandwiches! She doesn’t make the sit for feedings or treats, it’s very frustrating for me. Pawing her face to wake her up for treats. She also feeds them too much bad human food then gets angry that they throw up. They are my little babies.

I was going to get one kitten to keep my older cat company, then I thought maybe if they don’t get along kitten will be lonely so I will take two, oh there’s one more and it will be left all alone? I’ll take all three then. So I walked a couple miles down the highway with three little kittens in my sweater on summer evening (the 12 year old that gave them to me could see a sucker a mile away!) that was back in 2004, if I recall correctly.

Charlie is left, Whisper is right. Whisper had rolled in sidewalk chalk in the picture with the leash.

Cats are my first love. The man always says he is *Last Best* because I will fuss over the cats before I will fuss over him [heavens! He's a grown man!] Yours are adorable. I'm afraid mine are terribly spoilt. Not human food but they can pretty much do as they please & still get loved on.

Oh they still get loved and spoilt to bits... I just don’t feed them things their tummies can’t handle. They are getting old (16,actually, I always forget just when, but we had a record setting forest fire that year, so I can look that up to figure out their age) and they have thyroid problems and delicate stomachs not suited to eating margarine, cheese whiz, and milk. My mother will feed them straight margarine and lots of super salty deli meats. Once she even let poor Charlie (he will eat anything) have a hot pepperoni stick! then she complains that they throw up :he

Today I’m going to work on cleaning and organizing the trailer to make it cat-safe so I can fix this. Andrew forgot to bring down my egg turner, so I didn’t get my eggs into the incubator yesterday afternoon. I will do it today when the kid gets back from school around 5pm. The elementary school here does 8 weeks of science and swimming lessons once a week in town, so they go out on the morning ferry and come back on the one that gets in at 4:30. I will have a lot to keep me busy while Andrew is in town.

Afternoon Bob! :frow

Just finished removing the Yearling cattle from the field with the really sketchy horse that doesn’t like other animals... so my plans for today got bumped to say the least... If there’s a hole in a fence they will find it. If there’s a terrified Wwoofer on the other side of the fence shaking a grain bucket, they may jump it. It’s amazing how high a cow can jump when they are motivated enough.

Your getting your cardiac @ present. :) Be fit as a fiddle shortly with all this chasing after cows.

LOL My work keeps wanting me to sign up for the wellness program.... but it doesn't count pig and chicken wrangling into the steps. I told them that I'm better shape than any of their city folk for what I do everyday. How many calories do you burn carrying a 5 gal bucket of water across the pasture or chasing a chicken to get them in the house.
